Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit Installation - 2017 Ford Taurus- Video

Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit Installation - 2017 Ford Taurus

Hi there, Ford owners. Today on your 2017 Ford Taurus, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install Roadmaster's charge line kit. Installing a charge line kit on your vehicle is going to ensure that your battery stays topped up when flat towing behind your motor home. And this is really important because if you're going on extended long trips and your battery goes dead, it may not activate the braking system that's in your vehicle here, which could hinder your stopping performance. So keeping this topped up's going to ensure that your braking system's gonna activate and you're gonna be able to hop in your vehicle once you get to your destination and fire it up with no issues. If it's discharged, it may have enough juice in it to operate the braking system, but once you get to your destination, if you don't have it topped up, it may not have enough to crank the engine over. more

Yakima Roof Rack Fairing Review - 2013 Ford Taurus- Video

Yakima Roof Rack Fairing Review - 2013 Ford Taurus

Today on our 2013 Ford Taurus we'll be test fitting the 44 inch fairing for Yakima roof rack cross bars, part Y07048. With the Yakima control towers roof rack system already installed on our Taurus and having already removed the carriage bolts and wing bolts, we are going to begin our test fit by placing the fairing directly onto our roof line. Here on the passenger side, we'll bring the 2 clips on this side around our front cross bar. We'll then move over to the driver's side and do the same thing. We'll take a quick look to make sure we have our fairing centered and then we'll move to the passenger side and replace the carriage bolt through the outer most clip and secure it in place with one of the wing nuts. We'll now move to the driver's side and place the bolt through the outermost clip and secure this one with the wing nut as well. more

Yakima Roof Rack Fairing Review - 2012 Ford Taurus- Video

Yakima Roof Rack Fairing Review - 2012 Ford Taurus

Today, we're working with the 2012 Ford Taurus and will be test fitting the Yakima 44-inch Fairing for Yakima Roof Racks, part number Y0748. To man our fairing to the roof rack, we'll simply fit all four of the clips over our front cross bar. We do want to make sure that the fairing is centered from left to right, in-between the towers, then we'll come back and use the carriage bolt and wing nuts to secure the outer two clamps on either side. With that done, our fairings installed and we can hit the rood with much less roof rack noise. That's it for our test fit of the Yakima 44-inch Fairing for Yakima Roof Racks, part number Y0748 on the 2012 Ford Taurus. more
